HIKING DAY BJELAŠNICA – ETNO VILLAGE LUKOMIR

8:30am Tour Starts from Sarajevo – Hotel/Accommodation, after one hour morning ride we will arrive to Umoljani village.

Depending from the guests physical fitness our guest they can choose Easier or Harder option to Lukomir village.

On the Easier version our guest will experience SUV 4×4 off road macadam ride to Lukomir village, or to take shorter hiking rout along the canyon Rakitnica – where after we explore the village, local traditions, meet the people and taste some delicious local food and tasty coffee.
Breath-taken away by amazing views of Rakitnica Canyon, learn stories of Bosnian medieval tombstones (Stečci) then we will prepare to hike through amazing Canyon Rakitnica, before we reach Studeni Potok and Umoljani village.
This hiking version does not have any major altitude differences (ups and downs), and it is classified as mostly easy, mainly flat and pleasant walking tour.
Harder option is full hiking tour and offering much more, and is adjusted for guests with medium or high fitness level. When we arrive in Umoljani village we will start our hiking tour, in one way we will hike cc 4-5 hours, till we reach Lukomir village. Hiking trails will take us from starting point of 1275 meters (Umoljani) to peak Obalj at cc 1900 meters. After first two hours of hiking you will be surprised with a magnificent views at Cold Creek ( Studeni potok ), later as we continue our hiking you will enjoy at Rakitnica Canyon and mountains of Treskavica, Visoćica and ultimate peak of Bjelašnica.
On the way we will adjust paste for guest and we can rest as much we want, then we will continue hike down to Lukomir village at altitude of 1500 which will be “one of a kind” experience.
